#5 Copilot Chat, Spotify translations, adapter pattern, and URL state management

In this week’s episode of Console.Warren() we talk about developer soul crusher, ChatGPT. First, the release of Github Copilot Chat where questions you ask will be answered within the context of your own project. Second, we talk about Spotify using OpenAI to use voice cloning for translations, which has pretty exciting implications on how we listen to and watch media from around the globe.

We also talk about using the adapter pattern in JS, and finally, state management in the browser URL.

Dev Tweet of the week

Non-dev item of the week

I saw a work by an artist named Bill Braun that looked like a child’s scene made of construction paper cutouts. It was interesting, but then when I looked closer, I realized it wasn’t actually construction paper, it was paint. One of the more unique artists I’ve seen.
